Guitar Hero II Fans Start Online Petition To lower Guitar Hero II DLC Prices

Posted by Aaron on Thursday, April 12, 2007

A day after Microsoft released the first downloadable song packs for Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360 for 500 MS points fans are in a uproar. They have already started a online petition calling for MS to lower the prices of the Guitar Hero II downloadable song packs.

To: RedOctane/Activision, Harmonix/MTV, Microsoft

Dear RedOctane/Activision, Harmonix/MTV, and Microsoft,

Fans of Guitar Hero II for xbox 360 were shocked and dismayed to discover the price point for xbox live downloadable content associated with our most anticipated game. The price point of $6.25 (USD) for 3 songs (or 500 MSP) is unacceptable and we respectfully decline to purchase any of them until this price is made more reasonable.

We have signed this petition with our xbox live gamertags, track us and you’ll find that we have not and will not purchase additional songs for Guitar Hero II at this price point.

The Undersigned

At the time of this writing the petition has a total of 7,286 signatures.

So whats your take on this expensive or not expensive? Leave a comment.
