The U.S. PS Store saw a huge update today. Unfortunately, Calling All Cars was nowhere to be found, but the other things available are sure to make up for it (for this week, at least). The biggest addition was the ability to play original PlayStation games on your PS3, and the pretty good list of games compatible with this feature. Super Rub A Dub and Gauntlet II were also added. Here are more details on the update:
- Super Rub a Dub. Starter pack – free, full version – $7.
- Gauntlet II – $7
- PS1 games (all playable on the PS3) – 2Xtreme, Crash Bandicoot, Destruction Derby, Jet Moto, Jumping Flash, MediEvil, Rally Cross, Syphon Filter, Tekken 2, WipeOut. – $5.99 each
- Game Trailers: Super Stardust HD, Rampart, Blacksite: Area 51
- Movie Trailers: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
Note that if you already downloaded the PS1 games for your PSP, you do not need to pay for them again, but you will have to re-download them. What are you guys planning to get?
